Matt Mullen is a 2015 3B/MIF, RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Rancho Santa Fe, CA who attends Torrey Pines. Tall, thin athletic build. Short load, line drive swing plane, long swing with good extension, balanced swing, uses the middle of the field well, solid line drive contact. Quick release on throws from across the infield, hands work. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot with a medium length arm action, gets downhill, 11-5 curveball with solid spin and depth. Excellent student.
