Matt Mackey is a 2016 C/3B with a 5-10 200 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Manatee. Mackey has a young athletic build, hits from a slightly open stance with a toe tap trigger. Short compact line drive swing with hands going straight to ball. Line drive results and makes good contact. Defensively, sure actions behind plate. Has clean transfer of ball. Outstanding student.
