Keegan Nimblett is a 2017 C/IF/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends South Iredell HS. Has a long, lean frame, athletic build, plenty of room to continue to fill out physically as he puts on additional muscle. Posted a 7.28 60-yard dash. From behind the plate, has a low setup and wide base, clean transfers into throws, solid footwork. From the infield, has clean actions, soft hands, and generates good momentum to and through the baseball. Throws were accurate from both behind the dish and on the infield, arm strength was up to 77 MPH on the infield. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base and a high hand set. Has a short, compact swing on a line drive swing plane. Has present strength in his swing, good bat speed, repeatable mechanics, looks to drive the ball back up the middle. On the mound, throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with long arm action. Has natural running life on fastball, works both quickly and low in the strike zone. Excellent student.
