Eddy Gonzalez is a 2015 2B/SS, RHP with a 5-7 127 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends James Monroe. Very young, small build, slender. Should improve strength significantly in the next couple years. Ran a 7.26 60 yard, and shows the makings of being a solid athlete. Flashes good infield range, and developing arm strength. Moves around well and makes accurate throws. Right-handed hitter, works from a low hand set, shows good balance. Has good barrel control but strength is not there yet. Likes the ball up in the zone. Could develop into a very good hitter with strength and maturity. Also pitched, reached 73 mph with his fastball. Works from a three-quarter arm slot and throws a lot of strikes. Flashes a 60 mph curveball with some feel for it.
