2005 Northern CA Top Prospect Showcase
T.J. Warren is a 6'5" 180 pound 2006 outfielder from Jesse Bethel High School in Vallejo, California who has good present strength and a projectable athletic build. He has impressive 6.56 speed and touched 91 from the outfield. We would like to see if his arm transfers to the mound some day but he is a high profile prospect in the field. T.J. has good bat speed and really enjoys playing the game. He is a free swinger and will need to be more knowlegable of the strike zone as he moves up into a higher level of ball. Warren has good raw power and leverage at the plate and when he stays balanced can lay into ball well. He has some great upside to his potential.
