Mitchell North is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends George Ranch HS. Long and lean athletic build, lots of strength potential. Right handed hitter, long extended swing, some backside collapse, uppercut swing plane, handles the barrel well and projects power, can level out his swing plane and balance, has hitting tools to develop. 7.24 runner, showed his range/athleticism with a great diving catch in foul territory, needs some fundamental work on throwing mechanics to develop future arm strength. Also pitched, slow paced delivery, long extended arm action, leans back to let arm get through, mid 70's fastball, developing curveball. Good student.
