Nicolas Gonzalez is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Alonso HS. Slender young build, has some hidden young strength with room for more. Right handed hitter, aggressive hitting approach but recognizes pitches and makes adjustments, big move into contact but keeps his hands back, showed the ability to drive the ball to right centerfield and will hit to all fields, confident hitting approach. 6.91 runner, active feet on defense, most comfortable throwing from lower slots but still gets good carry, arm works well and makes accurate throws, clean hands at the ball, solid defensive tools and skills, arm slot may be most conducive to second base.
