Sage White is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Rogers. Medium, athletic frame with nice present strength and room to continue to fill out. Ran a 7.10 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball with short steps, stays online with lower half, short and compact arm action with a tight release, stays tall at release, has carry on throws. Also pitched, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a full arm action coming through. High leg lift delivery, balanced on back side, front side opens early at time. Showed a feel for two pitches, fastball topped at 71 mph and curveball showed 11-5 shape. Right-handed hitter, starts with a medium base and a low hand set. Upper body swing, uses a small toe tap trigger at start, stays compact with hands. Patient approach, hands play through swing and shows ability to hit to all fields, consistently up the middle. Outstanding student.
