Nicholas Jeffers is a 2014 SS/ with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Vinton, OH who attends River Valley. Medium, athletic frame and has some room to grow. Ran a 7.27 60 yard dash. Throws from a low slot in the infield, but gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate throws. Fields well to his backhand side and shows the hands to stick in the middle infield. Right-handed batter, works from a slightly open, wide setup. Shows quick hands through the zone, could get lower half more involved. Has a good idea at the approach and shows good pitch selection. Excellent student.
