Oliver Campbell is a 2016 LHP/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Monroe, LA who attends Neville. Young, athletic build with a lean build and projects with added strength. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, throws from an over the top arm slot with a quick arm action in the back. Some effort at release, uses lower half well and finishes online towards the plate and rotates hips nicely. Works quick on the mound and attacks hitters, fastball topped at 82 mph with late life and downhill plane. Curveball shows nice 12-6 shape with depth at 69 mph and changeup shows fade to his arm side. Left-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and a low hand set. Sound approach at the plate, gets hands through the zone, line drive swing plane with line drive contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Gets onto front side early at times but shows ability to creates hard contact to pull side. Good student.
