Kendrick Calilao is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends The First Academy. Athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, has simple swing mechanics with a very direct path to contact, has present bat speed, line drive swing plane, no problem with mid-90's velocity, can drive the gaps, high level hitter who can perform right away at the next level. Did not run 60 but 4.55/4/51 on two turns at first base. Corner outfield defensive profile, has strong fundamental footwork in the outfield with good arm strength, makes accurate on line throws. One of the best pure hit tools in the 2018 class. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Florida.
