Tyler Daughtry is a 2016 SS with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Kathleen, GA who attends Veterans HS. Compact and strong build, pretty mature physically. 7.21 runner, moves well defensively and is light on his feet, fields out front with soft hands, lots of raw arm strength, showed balance moving to his left and charging the ball, solid all around defensive actions. Left handed hitter, tall and open stance, swings hard and looks to pull and lift, uppercut swing plane, has raw bat speed but will need to make adjustments to consistently square up higher level pitching. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida State.
