Shane Marshall is a 2018 C/RHP/3B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Gulf Coast HS. Long and lanky athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. 6.73 runner, has outstanding arm strength behind the plate, actions are long in all regards receiving and throwing but the arm stands out. Right handed hitter, spread stance, deep arm bar with some barrel wrap to start his swing, inside swing path, works the middle of the field to opposite field with the ability to drive the gaps, has the strength to improve with adjustments. Would be very interesting to see on the mound, was topping out at 90 mph last summer but hasn't pitched at a PG event this summer. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.
