Dorion Kemp is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Wellington, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Tall, lean, young looking left-hander with a lot of room to fill out, particularly in his lower half. Pitches from a high three-quarter slot and works from a deliberate delivery. Uses a high leg kick and hides the ball well. Has outstanding natural cutting and sinking action to his fastball at 73-76 mph. Fastball looks like a slider at times. Repeats his delivery well. Mixes a 68 mph breaking ball with 11-5 and knows how to miss bats. Hitters consistently off balance against him. Very good student.
