Erikson Nichols is a 2016 SS/3B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Oradell, NJ who attends Bergen Catholic HS. Tall and angular build, some present strength with more to come. 7.32 runner, has soft hands in the infield and fields the ball cleanly and out front, lower arm slot with good raw arm strength and carry, deliberate and sure actions, projects to third base in the future. Right handed hitter, very spread bent knee stance, limited shift or stride, upper half rotational swing with a high hand start, has some bat speed and a feel for the barrel, high contact approach, has the frame to hit for more power with adjustments. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Duke.
