Caleb Roberts is a 2018 C/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends St Thomas Aquinas HS. Has a long, lean build and room to put on additional muscle as he continues to mature. Posted a 7.06 sixty yard dash. From behind the plate, starts in a higher setup with simple mechanics and efficient footwork. Has strong hands and receives the ball well. Simple release on throws with arm strength up to 78 MPH while popping as low as 1.96 seconds. At the plate, left-handed hitter that starts with a squared stance. Keeps his hands inside the baseball with good looseness and extension through the baseball. Displayed ability to hit the baseball to all fields, continuously squared up the ball. Projects well as he continues to fill out frame. Outstanding student. Named to 2016 Sunshine East Top Prospect List.
