Dylon Poncho is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-9 168 lb. frame from Elton, LA who attends Kinder HS. Short compact build, mature look, long arms for his height. Right handed hitter, stays short and direct to the ball, has some strength and bat speed, line drive contact to all fields, has the strength to keep improving as a hitter. 7.38 runner, very good infield arm strength, throws really carry, release can be long at times from an over the top slot, charges well and can make the off balance play, 7.38 runner, third base tools. Also pitched, simple step and throw delivery, smooth arm action, fastball topped out at 90 mph with good run and sink, primary fastball pitcher, pounded the zone and got round balls, some spin and depth to a mid-70's curveball. Two-way prospect. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State.
