Easton McGee is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-6 195 lb. frame from Hopkinsville, KY who attends Hopkinsville HS. Extra long and slender build, very projectable physically. Big leg raise delivery, get his back turned well and uses his lower half, stays on line well with a compact arm action, will occasionally pull and lean off to the first base side on release. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, more velocity in there, low effort release, gets nice sink and are side run down in the zone, commands his fastball well and pitches to contact effectively. Slurve type breaking ball, best at higher velocities, has hard late biting action at times, gets loose at lower curveball velocities. Improved throughout the outing and finished strong. Good student, verbal commitment to Kentucky.
