2014 Pitcher/Catcher Indoor Showcase
Brady Franklin is a 2015 RHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Swisher, IA who attends Prairie HS. Strong athletic build. Leg raise delivery with good hip turn, stays on line but tends to drift out and loose leverage at release, 3/4's arm slot with a compact arm action. Mid-70's fastball, gets good arm side sinking and running action, topped out at 77 mph. Slider has proper rotation, release and shape, shows good depth at times. Nice sinking life on change up with proper arm speed. Has three pitches he can throw strikes with and has an idea how to pitch, only thing missing at present is the velocity.
