Nick Price is a 2014 RHP/IF with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from West Haven, CT who attends West Haven. Stocky, strong build with good lower half strength. Throws from a high three-quarter arm slot and uses his lower half effectively. Fastball reaches 80 mph and has occasional natural cutting action. Throws 11-5 curveball with solid depth. Has a clean arm action and sells his arm speed well on his changeup. Also played the field, shows good online carry on throws across the infield. Bats from the right side, uses a leg lift trigger and has a line drive swing path. Very upright at the plate and keeps his swing under control. Uses simple mechanics and makes consistent contact. Good student.
