Stuart Fairchild is a 2014 OF with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Seattle Prep. Very strong athletic build, fairly mature physically. Right handed hitter, simple and efficient swing mechanics, stays calm and balanced through contact, loose swing with good extension out front, gap power, line drive approach and swing plane, ball comes off the barrel hard and frequently, advanced hitter. 6.95 runner, some strong simple and fundamental actions in the field, quick clean release with good footwork, on line accurate throws. Bat is going to play up. Excellent student, signed with Wake Forest.
