Chase Costello is a 2018 RHP/SS with a 6-4 193 lb. frame from Pompano Beach, FL who attends Pompano Beach HS. Very projectable young build. Whippy fast arm, 3/4's arm slot, repeats his delivery well, has some cross fire action with medium effort at release. Fastball up to 93 mph, more there as he gets stronger, gets some sink and arm side running action, throws strikes with his fastball. Throws his slider for strikes to both sides of the plate as well, flashes tight spin but tends to get under the pitch at times. Lower slot on his change up but with good fading action. Kind of young pitcher a scout can dream on.
