Riley Myers is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Philadelphia, MS who attends Leake Academy. Large, athletic frame with physicality proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 6.80 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, clean actions moving to the ball, fields out front, ball comes out of hand cleanly and velocity comes easy, higher three-quarters release point, arm strength and carry plays to intended base. Also pitched, rock step behind the rubber into a leg lift up to belt; fast arm through the backside and ball comes out cleanly, fastball topped out at 90 mph, occasionally works across body at times, low effort release. Slider is best secondary offering up to 83 mph with high spin with tight life, mixed a firm changeup at 86 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, slightly open stance and gets closed moving into contact occasionally gets onto front side early. Stays short to the ball and shows strength in hands, doubled to the pull side gap on elevated fastball in live action. Strong wrists, has juice off the barrel when squared and on time. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Mississippi State.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
