Spencer Perez is a 2017 RHP/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Berlin, NJ who attends Eastern High School. Medium build and frame with present strength and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.69 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, worked well through his lower half from a three quarter arm slot and a compact arm action. Fastball worked 83-85 mph with downward angle towards the plate. Flashed feel for an 11-5 shaped curveball at 68 mph that showed good spin. Alternated timing and tempo towards the plate keeping hitters off balance. Also showed good feel for a changeup at 75 mph that was inconsistent at times, but showed well. Named to Top Prospect List.
