Cooper Lanz is a 2021 3B/RHP/C with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Argyle, TX who attends John H Guyer HS. Big and strong athletic build, pretty mature physically for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a bent knee stance with a quick leg pull back load, has to rush his load at times, back side will collapse at times in his swing as well, has solid bat speed and ability to impact the ball, hard pull to middle of the field contact, has the strength and bat speed to develop with adjustments to his approach. 7.14 runner, has some arm strength across the diamond from a compact arm action, can quicken his release on his throws. Also pitched, compact catcher's type arm action, works from the stretch, gets some running action on an upper 70's fastball, short slider is well executed and gets off barrels. Very good student.
