Anthony Shaver is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-2 197 lb. frame from Clermont, FL who attends South Lake. Big and strong athletic build. Powerful runner, 6.45 in the sixty. Plenty of arm strength in the outfield from a long and deep arm action, well executed crow hop, shows his athleticism defensively. Right handed hitter, deep hand load in back from an open stance, creates lots of raw bat speed and the ball comes off his barrel hard, line drive swing plane, strength really shows up in his swing, lots of impact without much effort, has all the ingredients to really blossom over the next few years as a hitter. Very good student, verbal commitment to Florida State.
