Daylen Xavier Carter is a 2019 1B/LHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from West Sacramento, CA who attends Capital Christian HS. Long and loose athletic build, very projectable physically. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open relaxed stance, fluid and loose swing, level swing and will hit to all fields, good strength in his wrists with more to come, will keep improving as he gets stronger. 7.04 runner, moves well and has good footwork at first base, smoothness to his actions, has athleticism and could undoubtedly play left field as well. Good student, verbal commitment to UCLA.
