Steven Boscia is a 2016 RHP/IF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Eastchester, NY who attends Archbishop Stepinac HS. Medium, young build with potential to get stronger. Ran a 7.81 60 yard dash. Pitches from a three-quarter arm slot and shows an ability to repeat his delivery. Shows running action on 81 mph fastball and has a nice tempo in his delivery. Has consistently 10-4 break on his 69 mph curveball and has the ability to locate it. Works inside effectively. Good feel for his changeup. Also swung the bat, tends to be on his front foot. Line drive swing path and stays up the middle. Developing infield actions and makes accurate throws. Good student.
