Roy "Bubba" Chandler is a 2021 RHP/SS with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Bogart, GA who attends North Oconee HS. Recorded a 7.23 second 60-yard dash time. Young, projectable build with length to the frame and lots of room for strength. Primary righthanded pitcher with a big side step into a simple delivery with energy at release. High three-quarters arm slot with a deliberate delivery into an accelerated release. Works very quickly with a longer arm stroke in the back. Good arm speed and maintains hand speed on the changeup with very good sink and run. Breaking ball could be landed for strikes and projects with strength. Clean delivery and repeats well with upside to the profile. Arm strength played well from secondary position of the infield. Switch hitter with an even stance, high hand set, and a low back elbow. Contact oriented stroke with an inside path to the baseball. Looseness to hands and showed the ability to turn on the inside part of the plate. Good student. Verbal commitment to Georgia.
