Chris Joaquim is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Petaluma, CA who attends Casa Grande HS. Thick strong build. High hand side step delivery, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, creates good angle to the plate. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, have seen upper 80's in the past, fastball mostly straight. Big breaking curveball had good shape at times and was used effectively as an off speed pitch. Good student, verbal commitment to California.
