Francisco Hernandez is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Laredo, TX who attends Alexander. Big and strong athletic build. Two-way player whose future is on the mound. High leg raise delivery, long wrapped arm action in back coming to a high 3/4's arm slot, tends to land open out front and get off direction, some effort at release. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, mostly straight, more velocity potentially there with adjustments. Showed nice big running action on his change up with good arm speed. Tends to slow his arm and release early on his soft curveball. 7.15 runner, showed his raw arm strength very well in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a leg lift trigger, flashes strength in his swing when squared up, line drive to downhill swing plane. Good student, verbal commitment to Oklahoma State.
