Ramon Rodriguez is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Leadership Christian Academy. Medium frame with an athletic build, high waist, and room for additional strength. Primary lefthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Athletic delivery and throws exclusively from the stretch. Lower three-quarters arm slot with a tough slot and angle on the fastball. Clean and loose arm stroke with arm speed present. Up to 81 mph with life and really commanded the fastball well within the zone. Some crossfire to the landing and throws across his body. Landed a few breaking balls and showed a very good changeup with near identical arm speed. Works very quickly with a three pitch mix and getting a ton of weak outs. Tremendous student.
