2021 Sunshine East Showcase
Raul Torres is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Caguas Military Academy. Medium height with a strong athletic look and plenty to room for growth. Ran a 6.67 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, moves with speed and fluidity with soft hands and has some spring in the feet that allow good lateral movement. Very good arm and he gets rid of it quickly. Also worked out in the outfield with big athletic traits and carry on the throws. A right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base and a toe tap trigger. Floating load with ability to change path, stays behind the ball and uses the opposite field efficiently. Excellent athlete. Very good student.
