Alex Soriano is a 2015 SS/MIF, OF with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from Flushing, NY who attends Perkiomen. Quick twitch, athletic build with present strength. Good runner, ran a 7.0-60 yard dash. Primary middle infielder, short steps and athletic actions to the ball, moves well, short arm action on throws across the diamond, quick release and good carry, works through it well. Gets good reads off the bat in the outfield, quick steps and covers ground, short arm action, gets under throws. Right-handed hitter, short path to the ball, quick bat, showed ability to hit to all fields. Contact approach in the box, hard contact when barreled up, get to front side early at times. Good student.
