Jacobs is a strong right handed hitting junior catcher from Florida. He has a good strong body. He hits out of a wide stance with a short, quick swing that creates good bat speed.. Jacobs tends to get out on his front side very quickly and will use his power potential more when he learns to stay back better. Jacobs threw 71 mph during the catching workouts with pop times in the 2.11 – 2.15 range. He is a strong student.
