Showed solid athleticism for size throughout catching workouts. Quick transfer helps get rid of ball quickly. Could benefit from gaining more ground out of crouch. Very accurate arms resulted in quality throws consistently. Displayed a fairly strong arm throughout. Utilizes an athletic set up at the plate with a slightly open stance and body fairly upright. Showcased solid bat speed on a slight upper cut path. Flashed some feel for the barrel. Staying balanced and getting extension through the ball after contact could help improve the consistency of contact quality. A lot of quality traits throughout swing that should contribute in games. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
