Thomas Scott is a 2016 2B/IF, RHP, OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Lexington, SC who attends Brookland Cayce. Scott has a medium sized frame with a lean athletic build. Defensively he has developing footwork and solid actions on the infield. He attacked the slow roller well and has developing arm strength up to 74 MPH. From the outfield he has arm strength up to 81 MPH and developing outfield actions. At the plate, Scott starts with a wide base and uses an early toe tap trigger to start his swing. He has a simple hand path to the baseball with some bat speed. Scott made solid line drive contact and barreled up well in BP. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with developing arm speed. He pitches with low effort and hides the ball well.
