Tyler Fischer is a 2016 SS/RHP, 3B, 2B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Holmdel, NJ who attends Holmdel. Fischer has a strong thick build. Hits from a slightly open stance and wide base. Gets to square on stride. Loads lower half well and has good weight transfer to his front side. Short to ball with a line drive swing plane with lift at contact. has strength in swing and will flash occasional power with more to come with consistent timing. Has an aggressive in game approach and showed short compact swing. Defensively, short balanced steps and actions to the ball, best actions when on move, has quick transfer and accurate throws. Throws from lower slot and shows carry on ball. Also pitched. 3/4 arm slot, gets big hip and back turn at balance. Has quick delivery with a quick arm, two seam has good run down in zone. Mixes in both a curveball and slider with slider showing tight spin and action. Also threw a straight change up. Good Student.
