Bryce Medlock is a 2019 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Prosperity, SC who attends Mid Carolina HS. Recorded a 7.52 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some present physicality and room to fill out. Primary shortstop with aggressive actions. Gather and release are both clean and quick. Arm strength plays well at the position and has a good understanding of the position. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a compact delivery and a short rocker step into a leg lift above the belt. Balanced delivery with few moving parts and a slight pause at the balance point. Gathers well with a short stride down the mound. Gets push off the backside with good line and direction toward the plate. Extended three-quarter arm slot with an easy and loose arm action. Curveball with 9/4 shape with tight rotation and late depth. Feel for three pitches and intriguing prospect on the mound. Righthanded hitter with a deep hand load and a big stride forward. Toe tap trigger into stride and flashed bat speed through extension. Power projects well to the pull side and made adjustments throughout. Excellent student.
