Brandon Gonzales is a 2019 SS/3B with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Madison HS. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean and projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shorts steps moving towards the ball and fields out front, extra strep prior to release, compact arm action on throws across, additional arm strength there with lower half incorporated, shows ability to drop arm slot and make accurate throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high leg lift trigger and a medium hand set in the box. Utilizes a contact approach at the plate and shows ability to work to all fields. Line drive swing plane through the zone, additional physical strength will plane in swing, gets the barrel to the ball. Very good student.
