Kevin Sim is a 2020 3B/RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Torrey Pines. Big and strong athletic build. 6.97 runner, has deceptive athleticism for his size, good on his feet moving side to side and fields the ball cleanly out front, lots of raw arm strength when he gets his feet set and directional, should have no problem staying at third base in the future. Right handed hitter, starts with a deep low hand load into a long and strong uppercut swing, has quick hands and present bat speed, big pull power and can hit the ball in the air for a long time, has shown the ability to take this approach into games and make it work. Baseball background, father was a celebrated power hitter in the Korean League. Very good student, verbal commitment to San Diego. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
