Earl Semper is a 2017 3B/OF with a 6-2 184 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends St Thomas Aquinas HS. Tall and slender broad shouldered build. Versatile player who plays both infield and outfield and switch-hits, 6.77 in the sixty. Moves well in the infield and has a compact arm stroke with good carry to his throws, good balance and actions charging the ball, also looked solid with good arm strength from the outfield. Has a more fluid swing left handed with better extension out front and carry off the barrel. Shorter inside path from the right side, still has bat speed but lacks the fluidity and separation, has the tools to keep doing both at the next level. Very good student.
