Jamie Dewitt Jr. is a 2017 C/ with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Waukesha, WI who attends Waukesha South. Dewitt Jr. has a large frame with a long projectable build. Defensively he starts with a side saddle set up on his pop throws and has quick transfers. He showed quick transfers and a uses a short arm action on his throws. Dewitt Jr. showed arm strength up to 77 MPH with carry on his throws. He gets a bit tall through his catch and throw actions and made accurate online throws. At the plate, Dewitt Jr. starts with an open stance with a wide base. His hands start by his back shoulder and gets close to an arm bar at load. He has a shorter path to the baseball and showed some lift at contact. Dewitt Jr. has some strength in his swing and uses his lower half well in his swing. Good student.
