Ben Dragani is a 2017 LHP with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Brookfield, WI who attends Catholic Memorial HS. Big and strong athletic build, still has plenty of physical projection. Deceptive delivery with lots of moving parts, lands closed out front, high 3/4's arm slot and closed landing create lots of angle and plane to the plate, arm works well coming through. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side running life. Slider is his best pitch, gets big tilt at times, can back foot a right handed hitter effectively. Did not throw a change up. Developing fastball command will be key in his development, the slider is a swing/miss pitch that will get outs. Very good student, verbal commitment to Michigan.
