Samson Hudson is a 2019 OF/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Denton, TX who attends Denton HS. Recorded a 6.94 second 60-yard dash time. Lean frame with long limbs, a high waist, and tons of room to fill out. Primary outfielder with a full arm stroke and short, sure steps. Big crow hop with good accuracy and direction toward the target. Arm strength also played from secondary position of first base. Lefthanded hitter with a spread open stance with a longer swing path. Big stride into contact and looks to create significant leverage to pull the ball. Lots of impact strength and strong wrists at the point of impact. Looking to elevate and hit the ball over the fence; has some present pull side pop and projects for more. Good student.
