Jakob Berger is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Grapevine, TX who attends Colleyville Heritage HS. Medium build with good lower half strength. Works from the stretch with a high hand start, keeps his delivery simple and repeatable. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, has been 89-90 at most PG events over the last year, mostly straight. Curveball has good tightness and some 1/7 depth. Developing feel for his change up, will be an important pitch for his future development. Very good student, verbal commitment to Dallas Baptist.
