Robbie McCargar is a 2017 OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Cumming, IA who attends Dowling Catholic HS. Medium athletic build, strong lower half. Left handed hitter, narrow stance, uses his lower half well in his shift into contact, long and loose swing with a good hand path to contact, nice bat speed when he is hitting out front and pulling the ball, ball comes off the barrel well, has hitting tools to develop. 7.13 runner, shows athleticism in the outfield, charges the ball well, tends to slow his momentum before release costing himself some raw arm strength, soft accurate throws. Good athlete who should keep improving. Good student.
