Alexandro Bello is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-8 147 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends City Of Hialeah Education Academy. Fast-twitch, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Excellent runner, posted a 6.62 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, very soft hands out front that play well at ball, smooth and easy actions with quick transfer, gets on top of throws well with solid present arm strength, balanced actions moving up the middle, consistent and sure hands with fluidity. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Uses a leg lift trigger for timing, Short and smooth line drive swing path through the zone, able to generate extension out front. Contact approach with full finish through the ball, nice feel for barrel and comfort to hit to all fields. Shifts well into contact and shows occasional lift to path, projects well with additional physical strength. Very good student. Named to Junior National Top Prospect List.
