Luke Banister is a 2020 C/1B/3B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Round Rock, TX who attends Hutto HS. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter,hits from an open bent knee stance with a rock back load, open pull approach, has present bat speed and lots of strength at contact, drives the ball hard with occasional loft, very consistent barrel, really squared the ball up hard both in games and during batting practice. 7.13 runner, good quickness behind the plate, has a flexible lower half in his defensive actions, good arm strength with accurate throws, 1.90 best pop time, good game throws, has the tools to stay behind the plate at the next level. Very good student.
