Jordan Morales is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Souderton, PA. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength, projects well with physical maturity and additional strength. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well with the ball with sound footwork and fundamentals, short and tight arm action with extension out front and does a nice job of working over front side, gets a bit upright at release occasionally, quick transfer and ball comes out well, shows accuracy. Also pitched, full hand path and up-tempo delivery, lands slightly open with strike foot at release. Quick arm action, extended and lower three-quarters arm action, generates short running life to fastball that topped at 78 mph, some effort at release but creates difficult angle out of hand. Attacks with fastball and shows ability to get to either side of the plate, curveball shows depth and nice shape when on top of ball. Righthanded hitter, begins with a bent knee stance and high back elbow in the box. High leg lift trigger for timing with upper body swing, line drive swing plane and shows a feel for the barrel coming through the zone. Occasionally gets to frotn side early, short finish through swing, shows jump off the barrel when squared up.
